Village Well, situated on Fountain Square, dressed with the theme 'How amiable are thy dwellings' accompanied by an illustration of Tideswell Parish Church.

The quotation is from Psalm 84. Tideswell Church is dedicated to St John the Baptist and because of its size is often termed the 'Cathedral of the Peak'. It has been listed Grade I since 1967.

The photographer recorded that he had taken this photo 'In Heavy Rain today', which accounts for its slightly 'washed out' appearance.
