Remains of the old Bullbridge lime-kilns, constructed by the Butterley Co at the same time as the canal in the 1790s. These burned limestone quarried at Crich and brought to the kilns by narrow gauge railway. The limestone was also used for smelting iron at the Butterley Co s Codnor Park furnaces.
