Now site of S.E. Derbyshire college. Was built in 1700s and called Heanor Hall. Passed into John Ray's hands in the 1800s. When he died in 1869 and his wife in 1871 it was sold and became the Technical School. Demolished in 1910, a new building became Heanor Grammar School then S.E. Derbyshire college.
